The CME was graced by Dr. Gopakumaran Kartha, Dean of SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, Trichy, and Dr. Arunachala D. Edukondalu, Medical Superintendent of the same institution, as chief guests. Both dignitaries addressed the participants, emphasizing the importance of early detection, patient-centered treatment, and continued research in improving breast cancer outcomes. The session covered new developments in imaging, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, and multidisciplinary management approaches.
