Preventive Oncology
Cancer is one of the Leading causes of death globally. It is estimated that there are nearly 2.72 million (27 Lakh) cancer cases at any given point of time, with over 13.2 lakh new cases and more than 8.5 lakh deaths occurring every year due to this disease. WHAT IS CANCER SCREENING?

Vaccine:
The vaccine protects against the human papillomavirus (HPV). If this virus stays in the body for a long time, it can cause some types of cancer. The FDA has approved HPV vaccines are to prevent:
- Cervical, vaginal, and vulvar cancers
- Anal cancer
- Genital warts
- In some cases, oral cancer too
Hepatitis B vaccine:
This vaccine protects against the hepatitis B virus (HBV). This virus can cause liver cancer.
