Harshamitra Hospital Successfully Conducted Breast Cancer CME 2025
Harshamitra Super Speciality Cancer Centre & Research Institute, Trichy, successfully conducted the Breast Cancer CME – 2025 on “Evidence, Advances & Future Directions in Breast Cancer Management” on November 16, 2025, at its Nagamangalam campus. The program was held as part of the hospital’s celebration of 15 years of dedicated cancer care and saw an exceptional turnout from the medical fraternity.
The CME was graced by respected chief guests Dr. Gopakumaran Kartha, Dean of SRM Medical College Hospital & Research Centre, Trichy, and Dr. Arunachala D. Edukondalu, Medical Superintendent of the same institution. Their presence elevated the event and inspired the young medical professionals attending the program.
The conference saw enthusiastic participation from numerous doctors, postgraduate students (PG), undergraduate students (UG), and healthcare professionals from various institutions. Each session focused on the latest evidence-based updates and modern advancements in breast cancer screening, diagnosis, surgical innovations, targeted therapy, and personalized treatment approaches. The speakers delivered meaningful insights, and every session received excellent response from the audience.
One of the highlights of the CME was the interactive engagement throughout the sessions. Students actively asked questions, discussed case scenarios, and exchanged ideas with the experts. To further encourage academic involvement, a separate quiz competition was conducted for both UG and PG participants. The competition created a lively atmosphere, motivating students to apply their clinical knowledge and think critically.
The first, second, and third prize winners in both categories were honored and awarded by the chief guests, adding to the excitement and recognition of students’ efforts.
