On August 7, 2025, Harsha Mithra Hospital organized a cancer awareness program at SASTRA Deemed University in Thanjavur. The event aimed to educate the younger generation about cancer and its impact. Dr. G. Govindaraj, a renowned Surgical Oncologist and Hospital Director, was the chief guest and delivered a special lecture.
Dr. Vijay Anand welcomed Dr. Govindaraj and honored him. Over 180 students attended the program, engaging in a interactive session where they asked questions and received gifts.
The event served as a wake-up call for Gen Z, highlighting the importance of cancer awareness and prevention. Harsha Mithra Hospital’s initiative to spread awareness about cancer and promote healthy living was appreciated by the students and faculty.
