On Sunday, March 15, 2026, a free cancer screening camp was conducted by Harshamitra Cancer and Multi-Speciality Hospital at Nanilam in Thiruvarur district. The camp focused on breast and cervical cancer screening for women.
Many women from Nanilam and nearby villages attended the camp and made use of the opportunity to get their health checked. Doctors and medical staff carried out the screenings and also spoke with the women about the importance of early detection and regular check-ups.
