On 8th November 2022 An Awareness Camp Conducted in Jamal Mohamed College ,Trichy by Harshamitra Cancer Centre. Our Directors Dr.P.Sasipriya Govindaraj M.B.B.S.,DMRT.,MD(RT)., (RADIATION ONCOLOGIST)and Dr.G.Govindaraj M.B.B.S., M.S., Mch., FICS., ( SURGICAL ONCOLOGIST) Were the Resource Persons who addressed the students regarding THE COMMON CANCERS AFFECTING THE WOMEN AND THE METHODS TO PREVENT THEM. Dr.P.Sasipriya (RADIATION ONCOLOGIST) Interacted with the girl students of the college and clear their doubts regarding Cancer , it’s causes and prevention of cancer.
Dr.G.Govindaraj (SURGICAL ONCOLOGIST) addressed the men students of the college and gave a lecture on ‘THE ILL EFFECTS OF TOBACCO AND IT’S RELATIONSHIP TO CANCER’. Both the Awareness Talk were supported by Power Point Presentation which had the pictures of cancer patients and illustration explaining THE CAUSE AND PATHOLOGY OF CANCER. The College Administration proposed to conduct researches in association with Harshamitra Cancer Centre. This was agreed by our directors. The Cancer Awareness Talk benefited around 300 girl students and 300 boy students.
