As part of Pink October 2026 – Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Harshamitra Cancer and Multispeciality Hospital, Nagamangalam, Trichy, continued its month-long breast cancer awareness initiative.
Dr. Usha Shanthi S, Principal, Chellammal Matric Hr. Sec. School, Sowdambika Group of Institutions, Nagamangalam, was honoured as the Chief Guest of the Day. She addressed the gathering with a short awareness talk before concluding her visit.
Following this, a special awareness session was conducted for students from her institution. The Harshamitra medical team spoke about the importance of being aware of changes in breast health and walked the students through breast self-examination with a simple demonstration, helping them understand the basic steps involved.
Certificates of participation were presented to all students who attended.
As part of the month-long campaign, Mammogram, Thermogram, and Sonogram are being offered at a special package cost from 1 October to 31 October 2026.
