As part of Pink October 2026 – Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Harshamitra Cancer and Multispeciality Hospital, Nagamangalam, Trichy, continued its month-long breast cancer awareness initiative.
Ms. H. Kamala Bhandari, popularly known as the “Iron Lady” of Aval Vikatan, was welcomed as the Chief Guest of the Day at the hospital on 31 October 2026.
The initiative highlights the importance of breast health, regular screening, and early diagnosis. It also encourages women to notice changes in their breasts and seek medical advice when needed. As part of the campaign, Harshamitra Hospital offered a special screening package at ₹999, featuring Mammogram, Thermogram, and Sonogram, available from 1 October to 31 October 2026.
Through this month-long programme, the hospital continues to raise awareness about breast cancer and encourage women to prioritise their health.
