Rare cancer of multiple myeloma

Rare cancer of multiple myeloma

This middle aged man was brought to our hospital with a rare cancer of multiple myeloma affecting the eye. His right eye was protruding out and it was a frightening sight to his family members particularly the children. Already affected with cancer, he had to endure the social boycott of the near and dear too. In this pathetic condition he came to our hospital with his wife.

We provided him radiotherapy treatment with our advanced linear accelerator machine and within a month, the patient regained his normal appearance and his confidence. He is currently on chemotherapy treatment. Cancer treatment is not just about cure, it is about quality of life too. Many people are afraid of the side effects of cancer treatment. But the recent advancements in the radiotherapy technology, the advanced medicines used in chemotherapy and the conservative approach of cancer surgery seldom cause serious side effects. Cancer treatment has greatly advanced nowadays and there is no need to fear about the side effects of cancer treatment anymore.
