As part of Pink October 2026 – Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University, Tiruchirappalli, organised an awareness programme titled “Pink Radiance 2026 – Breast Cancer: Awareness & Early Signs.”
Dr. G. Govindaraj Vardhanan, Managing Director and Surgical Oncologist, Harshamitra Cancer & Multispeciality Hospital, Trichy, delivered a guest lecture at the programme. He spoke about the importance of breast cancer awareness, recognising early signs, and seeking timely medical consultation, and highlighted how early detection plays a key role in managing the disease effectively.
The session encouraged students to take charge of their breast health and share this awareness with the people around them.
Through such initiatives, Harshamitra Hospital continues to support cancer awareness and promote early detection and timely care.
