Harshamitra Cancer & Multispeciality Hospital participated in the 23rd Annual General Body Meeting of the Defence Factories and Allied Pensioners Association, held on June 20, 2026, at JSC Kala Arangam, Ordnance Factory Tiruchirappalli (OFT). As an empanelled hospital under the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS), the hospital was invited to conduct a healthcare awareness session for serving and retired OFT employees.
Dr. M. Sugirtha Nagarajan, Dental Surgeon, represented the hospital and spoke about the benefits of CGHS and how eligible Central Government employees, pensioners, and their dependents can access quality care at Harshamitra Hospital. She also gave an overview of the hospital’s multispeciality departments, cancer care services, and diagnostic facilities. Mr. Siva Arunachalam, Corporate Executive, was also present and interacted with attendees, highlighting the hospital’s commitment to accessible and compassionate care for the defence community.
The session saw active participation, with attendees raising questions about CGHS eligibility and available treatment facilities.
