With gratitude, compassion, and respect towards the nursing community, Harshamitra Cancer & Multispeciality Hospital and Rose Garden Charitable Trust successfully conducted the Nurses Day Celebration on May 12, 2026, at Harshamitra Hospital, Nagamangalam.
The event was organized to honour the dedicated service, care, and commitment of nurses who play a vital role in patient care and healthcare service. During the programme, nurses took a professional oath reaffirming their commitment towards humanity, ethical medical service, kindness, and patient welfare.
The celebration also remembered and paid tribute to Florence Nightingale, the pioneer of modern nursing, whose life and service continue to inspire the nursing profession across the world. The importance of compassion, discipline, and selfless care in the medical field was highlighted throughout the event.
Prof. Mrs. K. Devi, M.Sc., MBA., Vice Principal, SRM Medical College of Nursing, Irungalur, Trichy, participated as the Chief Guest and delivered a special address appreciating the contribution of nurses in society and encouraging them to continue their noble service with dedication and humanity.
The programme was held under the leadership of Dr. G. Govindaraj Vardhanan, Managing Director, and Dr. P. Sasipriya, Executive Director of Harshamitra Hospital. The event concluded in a meaningful manner celebrating the spirit of nursing, care, and service to humanity.
