As part of Pink October 2026 – Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Harshamitra Cancer and Multispeciality Hospital, Nagamangalam, Trichy, continued its month-long breast cancer awareness initiative.
Dr. G. J. Janavi, Ph.D., Dean, Horticultural College and Research Institute for Women, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, was honoured as the Chief Guest of the Day and took part in the Pink October awareness programme at the hospital.
During her visit, Dr. Janavi also toured the hospital’s speciality departments, advanced medical facilities, and laboratories, gaining a closer look at the range of healthcare services available at Harshamitra Hospital.
The programme forms part of the hospital’s month-long initiative to raise awareness about breast health and the importance of early screening among women. As part of the Pink October campaign, Harshamitra Hospital continues to offer a special screening package at ₹999, featuring Mammogram, Thermogram, and Sonogram, available throughout October, from the 1st to the 31st.
