Harshamitra Cancer and Multispeciality Hospital, Nagamangalam, Trichy, observed Ostomy Day with a special patient awareness and educational programme focused on stoma care and management.
Dr. G. Mannar Mannan, Surgical Oncologist, attended the programme as Chief Guest.
Ms. Rohini delivered an educational presentation on behalf of the hospital, sharing useful information with patients on day-to-day stoma care and management. This was followed by a session from Mr. Pradeep Nair, Regional Head Officer, ConvaTec, who spoke about common stoma-related complications and how best to manage them.
Existing and former stoma patients of Harshamitra Hospital took part in the interactive session, which gave them the opportunity to clarify doubts, gain practical knowledge, and learn more about managing stoma-related concerns in their everyday lives.
